Most small sellers write captions the way they talk to a friend: friendly, but easy to scroll past. A caption that sells does four small jobs in a few seconds.
1. Start with the customer, not the product
Open with the problem or the feeling. "Tired of dry brownies?" works better than "We sell brownies." In Bahasa Melayu: "Penat cari kek yang betul-betul lembut?"
2. Say one clear benefit
Pick the one thing that matters most: fresh daily, no preservatives (only if true), fits a small budget. Too many claims look like noise.
3. Add proof that is real
Use something you can stand behind: "baked this morning", "sold 200 boxes last Raya", "ready in 3 days". Never invent discounts, certifications or halal claims.
4. End with one action
Tell people exactly what to do: "Order on WhatsApp today" or "Tap the yellow basket". One action, not three.
Example
English: Soft, sweet and layered with love. Our kuih lapis is baked fresh every morning. RM18 a box. Order on WhatsApp today!
Bahasa Melayu: Lembut, manis dan berlapis kasih sayang. Kuih lapis kami dibakar segar setiap pagi. RM18 sekotak. Order di WhatsApp sekarang!
Make it faster
Type the product and two or three details into Bizzy's Caption tool and it writes three versions with hashtags in English, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil or Chinese. Read them, keep the best one and post.
